Currently, a message is going viral on social media that says due to lockdown, the government will pay Rs 3,500 per month to all the unemployed. If this message has been sent to your WhatsApp group, beware. Because, this message is false.

The government has rejected a WhatsApp message claiming that it is giving 3500 rupees monthly to every unemployed under the Prime Minister Unemployed Allowance scheme. In a tweet, Press Information Bureau termed it as fake. It clarified that no such scheme is being run by the Central government.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Unemployment Allowance Scheme 2020, the Government of India will provide Rs 3,500 per month to all unemployed citizens, the face message claims. For that, you are asked to register and fill out form.

The official Twitter account of the Central Government's Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check has clarified that the plan or the message is fake and false.

The message said, last date for registration of the scheme is May 15. Also, it is mandatory for the unemployed to have 10th pass and the age should be 18 to 40 years.

At present, fake news is being spread on social media about the scheme and the PIB has said that the Indian government has not launched any such scheme.
