Many are waiting for Force Motors' off-roading SUV Force Gurkha. Meanwhile, the car is expected to be launched soon. The company has unveiled a glimpse of the all new Force Gurkha 4X4 on its social media platform.
The SUV is also expected to hit the market next month in view of the festive season. But the company has not officially announced the launch date of this car yet.
The car was first displayed in 2021 at the Auto Expo in Greater Noida. The Gurkha 4X4 will of course be off-roader and will compete with Mahindra Thar in this segment.
The company may launch the new Gurkha in 3 door and 5 door versions. 2021 Gurkha has headlights with LED DRL, new grille and front bumper, snorkel, turn indicators on front fenders, newly designed taillights, newly designed wheels and tailgate-mount spa.
The models shown at the Auto Expo were quite different. It remains to be seen how similar the production version will be to it. Speaking of interiors, the next generation Force Gurkha will have captain seats in the second row and side facing jump seats in the rear.
The cabin can get all-black dashboard, new touchscreen system, round air vents with black surround and 3-spoke steering wheel. Force Gurkha can also be offered with other features like A-Pillar Mounted Grab Rail, Square Shaped and Glove-Box.
The 2021 Force Gurkha is expected to have a BS6-compliant 2.6-liter diesel engine. This engine can come with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine will be able to generate a maximum of 89 bhp and 260 Nm of peak torque.
It will also offer an all-wheel drive system for adventurers. In addition, the main features will include its independent front suspension and Rigid axle at the rear.
