Meanwhile, according to Baba Ramdev, 40,000 palm oil farmers have joined Patanjali so far. Their number is to be increased to 5 lakh in the coming time. In such a situation, after starting the production of palm oil in Patanjali, there were 5 lakh farmers.

Baba Ramdev said that farmers will cultivate a special type of palm oil. Therefore, more production will be available than before. This new breed of palm oil is also older than before. After starting its cultivation now, you can reap crops for up to 40 years.

Meanwhile, palm oil consumption is very high in India. It is the second largest consumer of palm oil in the world. Palm oil consumption in India is 9 million tons per year. Notably, palm oil accounts for 40 percent of India's total edible oil consumption.
