Pune, Maharashtra (February 19, 2025): Ten people were injured after a swarm of bees attacked them at Shivneri Fort in Junnar on Wednesday. The injured included seven medical staffers and forest officers on duty. Three visitors were also stung. They received immediate medical attention and were taken to a nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.

According to reports, the incident occurred around noon during an event marking the 395th birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. A medical team and forest guards were stationed at the fort’s Kadelot point as part of the event when the attack happened.
