Pimpri-Chinchwad Weather Update: Sudden Rise in Temperature, Mercury Crosses 35 Degree Celsius As February Ends
Temperature has reached above 30 in the last week of the February in the Pimpri city. Their has been significant rise in temperature since three-four days. Citizens are already having to endure the scorching heat of May. The cold has completely disappeared as the night temperature remains at 18 degrees. Till last week, the city residents were feeling a little cold in the morning.
However, the temperature has suddenly increased since February 21. On February 21 and 22, the temperature was reported to have reached close to 35 degrees in some parts of the city. On Tuesday (24th February) too, the temperature was around 32 to 33 degrees around noon.
The intensity of the heat is being felt more due to the decrease in humidity in the atmosphere and the air becoming dry. The heat has increased due to the occasional cloudy weather.

Health Impact
This sudden change in temperature has increased the incidence of cold, cough and fatigue. The roads are starting to become deserted in the afternoon and the crowd of citizens is increasing at the juice shops and soft drink shops.

The maximum temperature is likely to increase by another 1 to 2 degrees in the coming days. Use an umbrella or hat while going out in the afternoon. Drink plenty of water and consume lemonade or buttermilk. Doctors have appealed to prefer wearing cotton and light clothes.
