Pune Accident: 24-Year-old Youth Dies After Two-Wheeler Collides With Tractor in Wadgaonsheri Area

A 24-year-old man died after his two-wheeler collided with tractor in Pune's Wadgaonsheri area. In this case, the airport police have registered a case against the tractor driver. Deceased identified as Hariba Bansilal Bhalerao. A case has been registered against the tractor driver.

On February 8, 2026, Praveen Gokul Naik and his friend Hariba were injured when a speeding tractor struck their two-wheeler in the Wadgaonsheri  area. Naik, the rider, and Hariba, his passenger, were leaving the city road around 2 PM when the incident occurred. Naik has filed a complaint with the airport police station.

Hariba who was seriously injured in the accident was taken to hospital for treatment but unfortunately he died. After the accident the police have taken tractor driver Venkatesh Lokesh Rathod into custody and a notice has been issued to him. 

Police Sub-Inspector Kshirsagar is investigating.
