Pune Accident: One Dead After Truck Collides with Two-Wheeler in Otur Village
A tragic road accident in Otur village of Junnar taluka on Friday morning has claimed the life of a 28-year-old woman, casting a pall of grief over the entire area. The incident took place around 11:20 am at Monika Chowk when a truck collided with a scooter. The deceased has been identified as Snehal Ravindra Ahinave, who was seated on the rear seat of the two-wheeler. Following the collision, she fell onto the road and suffered a severe head injury. Heavy blood loss left her in a critical state as local residents rushed to help and immediately shifted her to a nearby private hospital, where doctors examined her and declared her dead.

In another incident reported from the Kondhwa area on Thursday, a serious accident left one person critically injured due to the alleged negligence of a car driver. CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, clearly capturing the sequence of events and revealing the exact cause of the crash. According to reports, the driver of a four-wheeler was attempting to take a U-turn on a busy main road when he lost control of the vehicle. The car then rammed into the road divider, resulting in a horrific collision. The injured individual sustained severe injuries and was quickly rushed to a hospital by local residents who promptly stepped in to assist.
The accident also caused temporary traffic congestion in the area, disrupting vehicular movement for some time. A formal complaint has been registered against the car driver at the Kondhwa Police Chowki. Authorities have begun a detailed investigation into the incident, and further action will be taken based on the CCTV footage and findings. Meanwhile, a video of the accident has gone viral on social media, once again highlighting the urgent need for drivers to exercise caution and remain vigilant while on the roads.
