Pune: Armed Group of Men Vandalizes House in Kothrud Over Old Rivalry, FIR Against 7

Pune: A incident involving a group of six to seven individuals creating a ruckus and spreading terror over an old dispute occurred at Shravandhara Society in Kothrud. The accused barged into a young man's home, vandalized household items using weapons, and brutally assaulted both the family members and their neighbors. In connection with this case, the Kothrud police have registered a FIR against seven individuals and have subsequently arrested them.

The individuals against whom the case has been registered and who have since been arrested are identified as Tejas Kamble , Ajay Mahajan , Neeraj Satpute , Nadeem Shaikh, Abhijit Ovhal , Sunny Sankya, and Abhi Ghare . A formal complaint regarding this matter was lodged by Rahul Subhash Gaikwad. 

According to the information received, on March 19, at approximately 10:30 PM, Tejas Kamble, motivated by a previous dispute, attacked Rahul Gaikwad's home. Kamble used an iron weapon to damage the front door, gas stove, water vessels, and walls. Simultaneously, accomplices threw a cement block through a window and assaulted Rahul's parents. The assailants also terrorized the neighborhood, attacking and injuring two other people.

Senior Police Inspector Sandeep Deshmane of the Kothrud Police Station responded to the scene. A case has been registered, including charges related to assault and the Arms Act, and the Kothrud police are investigating.
