Pune: Major Fire Breaks Out on Ferguson College Road, Shop Burnt Down (Watch Video)

A major fire broke out at the shop  on Ferguson college road in Wardali on Saturday April 25, 2026 at around 12:45 am. The entire goods in the shop gutted in fire. This fire caused major financial loss.  No one was injured in any of these incidents. A fire broke out in a corrugated metal shed near Hotel Rupali on Fergusson Road, where clothing vendors store their stock.

The blaze, fueled by the clothing, produced a large volume of smoke. Fire Officer Rajesh Jagtap reported that a fire tender from Erandwane fire station extinguished the fire using water jets. The cause is currently unknown. Later, around 4:00 AM, another fire occurred at a mall in the Deccan Gymkhana area, damaging stored items and the ceiling.

Firefighters extinguished this blaze within half an hour. This followed a previous fire on Friday midnight in shops within a Warje residential society, marking three separate fire incidents in the city within 24 hours.
