Pune Porsche Accident Case: Police Arrest Two More People in Connection with Alleged Blood Sample Swapping

The Pune Police on Tuesday, August 20, arrested two more people in connection with the alleged swapping of blood samples linked to a Porsche accident that killed two IT professionals. The accident occurred on May 19 in Kalyaninagar, where a minor was accused of killing two techies by crashing his Porsche into a motorcycle while driving under the influence of alcohol.

The two individuals arrested in the Sassoon Hospital blood sample swapping case have been identified as Aditya Sood and Ashish Mittal. Along with the minor driver, the blood samples of two other minors were also swapped. Both have been arrested in connection with this case.

The Pune Sessions Court is set to decide today on the bail application of the arrested individuals in the accident case. An attempt was made to protect the minor who caused the deaths by swapping his blood samples at Sassoon Hospital. The minor's parents, Vishal and Shivani Aggarwal, along with Sassoon Hospital doctors Ajay Tavre and Srihari Halnore, as well as Ashpak Makandar and Amar Gaikwad, are the accused in this case.

The lawyers for these six accused have completed their arguments in court, and the government lawyers have also presented their case. The court will deliver its decision today. The accused are alleged to have tampered with documents and evidence on the very first day of the crime, attempting to create new evidence.

The minor accused's father, construction businessman Vishal Surendra Kumar Agarwal, mother Shivani Vishal Agarwal, Dr. Ajay Taware of Sassoon Hospital, Dr. Srihari Halnore, Ashpak Makandar, and Amar Gaikwad are currently in Yerawada Jail.
