Pune: A 23-year-old man lost his life following a minor dispute over not having change at the Udmaidevi fair in Uddhat village, Indapur taluka. This tragedy occurred on late on Friday night, May 1. Police have registered a murder case against an ice cream cart vendor in connection with the incident. The deceased has been identified as Dada Ravan Ingle. Based on a complaint filed by Suraj Himmat Tupe, a case has been registered against Kisan Shankarlal Prajapati.
According to police, the incident occurred at the ‘Bhairavnath Ice Cream’ cart near Udmaidevi Mall during the fair. Tupe and Ingle were present at the cart when an argument broke out with Prajapati over loose change. The dispute quickly escalated, with Prajapati allegedly abusing and pushing Ingle. Following the shove, Ingle fell onto the road and suffered a severe head injury after hitting the asphalt. He died before he could receive medical treatment.
After the incident, Walchandnagar police registered a murder case against the accused. Further investigation is underway under the supervision of Sub-Divisional Police Officer Dr. Sudarshan Rathod, with Assistant Police Inspector Rajkumar Dunge leading the probe.
