Concerns grew earlier in the day when Pawar remained absent from the thirteenth-day ritual event of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. A team of doctors examined him in the morning, but his health reportedly declined again in the afternoon, prompting another medical review. Following this assessment, doctors advised that he be moved to Pune for further evaluation and treatment. As a precautionary measure, additional ambulances were arranged during his transfer to ensure medical preparedness.
Ruby Hall Clinic’s chief cardiologist, Dr Parvez Grant, confirmed that Pawar is undergoing detailed medical examinations and that doctors will decide the next course of action based on his condition. Meanwhile, NCP MP Supriya Sule assured party workers and well-wishers that Pawar has been under medical care for several days and is being closely monitored, adding that there is no cause for panic.
