A video of a man giving a monkey cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) has gone viral on social media. After the video went viral the man is being hailed as a hero on social media.
M Prabhu, 38, a car driver from Perambalur in Tamil Nadu, said that he had found the monkey injured and unconscious on a tree on 10 December.
According to sources, the video is from Perambalur in Tamil Nadu. Where a man named Prabhu is seen saving the life of a monkey by giving CPR. The incident took place on December 10 in a village called Othiam Samayuvapuram in Perambalur. Where some dogs suddenly attacked a monkey. The monkey was injured in the attack, the monkey was didn't move for some time, but Prabhu noticed the monkey and immediately started trying to save the monkey.

Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin has also praised Prabhu's action. On Twitter, he retweeted the video and wrote that it is called hope. This video is currently going viral.
According to Prabhu, when he saw the state of monkey, he did not know anything. The only thing on his mind was how to save this monkey. He first chased the monkeys away from the scene and then picked up the monkey from the spot. Then he took the monkey to sleep in the shade of a tree.
He then parked the vehicle and started to pump the heart of the monkey and performed an emergency CPR. He also started to breathe in the mouth of the monkey and it finally regained consciousness.
Later, Prabhu took the monkey to the hospital. Prabhu said that he completed a first-aid training course in Thanjavur in 2010 which helped him save the monkey.
