India and New Zealand were all set to lock horns today on Day 1 of the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship final in Southampton. However, play was called off without a bowl being bowled due to heavy rain. The inspection was supposed to be held at 7:30 pm IST but officials decided against risking players in wet conditions.
