Badlapur Crime: School Bus Driver Assaults 4-Year-Old Girl, Accused in Custody; Resident Demand Action

Badlapur : Another sexual assault incident reported in Badlapur west were a  four-year-old school girl became victim of  assault by a school bus driver. This incident again raised the concern about the safety of students in school. When parents of victim went to school demanding explanation, shockingly administration  sided with the school bus driver, which angered the parents, and the matter reached the police station.

According to report, four-year-old girl studying in nursery in the Badlapur West area was being taken home by the school van driver after school. Since there were other students from different schools in the minibus, the bus was always late. However, when the bus, which usually arrives at 1:30 PM, did not arrive on time today, the victim's mother called the school bus driver. The bus finally arrived near their house about 45 minutes late.

After getting off the school bus, the victim girl was crying, so her mother questioned her. After the incident that occurred in the school bus, the little girl informed her parents about what had happened. The parents immediately went to the school administration to demand an explanation. Even after the victim girl narrated the incident in front of the headmistress, the headmistress did not give the parents a satisfactory response.

The girl hid upon seeing the driver

When the school van driver was called to the school to ascertain the truth of the matter, the victim girl got scared and hid behind her parents upon seeing the driver. This made it clear how serious the incident was. As the school administration was not giving a proper response, the parents informed the Badlapur West police station about the incident. The police have taken the driver into custody. 

The school van driver gave the reason that he was delayed because he was dropping off other children, but after seeing the girl's condition, the parents realized that something wrong had happened. It is emerging that this incident occurred because there was no female attendant on the bus in which the little girl was traveling. Following this incident residents are demanding action against both the bus driver and the school administration.
