Thane Fire: Blaze Erupts in Arjun Tower at Gokhale Marg; Watch Video
A fire broke out on the third floor of Arjun Tower, located on Gokhale Road, Naupada, Thane (West) at approximately 6:59 AM today. The blaze originated in Red Clip Excel Laboratory, owned by Dr. Swaroop Kulkarni, occupying an estimated 2,700 square feet of space.
After approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes of tireless efforts by firefighters, disaster management personnel, and the disaster response team, the fire was completely extinguished. While the laboratory's equipment and materials suffered extensive damage, no injuries were reported in the incident.

The Disaster Management Cell was promptly alerted by the Jawahar Bagh Fire Station. Emergency responders, including the Naupada Police, Deputy Commissioners Mr. Godepure and Mr. Tayde, the Fire Officer, the Assistant Commissioner, and the Disaster Management Officer, rushed to the scene.
The fire brigade deployed three fire engines, one jumbo water tanker, two water tankers, and one rescue vehicle. Additional support came from the Disaster Management Cell with a pickup vehicle, and the Disaster Response Force with a bus. Staff from the Encroachment Department, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, and Mahanagar Gas were also present at the site.
