Thane News: Man Escapes Unhurt After Being Fired Upon in Panchpakadhi; Accused on Run

Thane: Man allegedly open fire on youth over old enmity and fled from the scene. This incident occurred on early hours of Friday, March 27, 2026 in Panchpakhadi area of Thane around at 12:45am near petrol pump in Haripath area on the Eastern Express Highway. Naupada police station said, accused identified as Jabiullah Shafikurrehman Khan allegedly shot victim Inzamam over some old enmity. 

Inzamam was on a two-wheeler with a woman friend when this incident occurred. Fortunately he escaped unhurt. According to PTI reports, Khan and Inzamam are residents of Hazuri area and have been embroiled in an old dispute.

PTI official said, "The incident took place at 12:45am near a petrol pump in Haripath area on the Eastern Express Highway. Khan fired two rounds when Inzamam was on a two-wheeler with a woman friend. Khan and Inzamam are residents of Hazuri area and have been embroiled in an old dispute."
