Thane Water Cut: Thanekars to Face 24 Hours Supply Disruption From May 21; Check Affected Areas

Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) will impose a water cut from Thursday, May 21, to Friday, May 22, for maintenance work at Jambhul Water Filtration Plant. Supply will be suspended from 12 pm to 12 pm in several key areas.

According to TMC, the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) will undertake urgent maintenance and upgradation work of Barvi gravity pipe lines 1, 2 and 3 during the suspension hours.

Affected Areas

Divas and Kalwa: Entire ward committee areas.

Mumbra: Most areas (excluding portions of Ward Nos. 26 and 31).

Wagle Estate: Rupadevi Pada, Kisannagar No. 2, and Nehru Nagar.

Manpada: Kolshet Lower Village, which falls under the Manpada Division Committee.

Low Pressure Warning

Thane civic body argued Thanekars, after resuming supply from Friday afternoon, there will be low pressure as it takes time for the air pressure and water flow in the pipeline. The municipal administration has directly appealed to all residents of the affected wards to store sufficient water in advance and use it judiciously.
