Abu Dhabi, Nov 20 Team Abu Dhabi got off to a rollicking start in their opening encounter of Season 5 of Abu Dhabi T10 against the Bangla Tigers, with Chris Gayle's unbeaten innings of 49 runs from 23 balls helping them notch a 40-run win at the Zayed Cricket Stadium here on Friday.Gayle and Paul Stirling's knock of 59 runs from 23 balls helped Team Abu Dhabi post 145/4 in their 10 overs before Marchant de Lange's bowling effort of 5/23 took the side to an emphatic win over the Bangla Tigers on Friday night.Andre Fletcher smacked Sheldon Cottrell for three boundaries and two sixes in the first over of Tigers' innings. However, the Tigers suffered a massive blow when Marchant de Lange dismissed captain Faf du Plessis for nought in the very next over.Following the wicket, Johnson Charles and Andre Fletcher smashed a six each, but the latter was bowled for 24 runs (8 balls) on the last ball of the second over.
