Aurangabad, May 21:The branches of the trees posing danger for the electricitywires on the poles have not been cut yet. During monsoon period, the wires rubto each other due to the branches which cause sparking in them. The MaharashtraState Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) before every monsoon cutall the branches posing danger for the electricity wires. Recently, the cityhas been hit by heavy rain with winds due to which the electricity wires are looseat many places and the branches have also fallen. Still, the branches are notcleared at various places. The repairing and maintenance work is done at someselected places only. Hence, the residents Balaji Chathe, Kadubai Chate, GovindDeshmukh, Sahebrao Patil, Yogeshwar Nikam, Digambar Katkar and others appealedthat the works should be conducted in all the areas.
