Aurangabad, Oct 17: Aurangabad bench of Bombay High comprising Justice S V Gangapurwala and Justice S D Kulkarni gave ‘status quo’ in the sports bogus validity certificate case.

This provided relief to 10 petitioners. The HC also issued directives to serve notice to respondents. The next hearing has been placed after six weeks.

Deputy Director of Sports and Youth Services cancelled the sports validity certificates of 258 persons who obtained jobs based on the certificate.

Kalpana Chavan, Madhav More, Vishwanath Kanhe and other seven persons challenged the decision of the deputy director through adv Amol Chalak.
