10th zone office for Satara-Deolai before August 15

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) has nine ward offices in the city. Tenth ward offices will be for Satara-Deolai. Preparations are underway to start this ward office from August 15, said administrator G Sreekanth to the concerned authorities on Tuesday.

Each ward office currently functioning covers 12 to 14 wards. Some of the ward offices have large area while others have less area. Citizens face difficulties in coming to the ward office for various tasks. So the administrators decided to change the boundaries of each ward office. The tenth ward will be in Satara-Deolai area.

For the CBSE school started by the municipal corporation, teachers from Marathi and Urdu medium schools and with good English were hired. However, the administrators suggested that these teachers should be given back and new teachers should be recruited on contract basis for CBSE schools.
