13 missing citizens to be traced from their passports

Aurangabad, Dec 26:

As the 13 citizens from Britain remained untraced even on Saturday, the municipal corporation handed over a list of these citizens with their names and addresses to the police. They will be traced using the passport number said municipal health officer Dr Nita Padalkar.

The municipal corporation has launched a survey of citizens returning from foreign. Between November 25 and December 25, 44 citizens arrived in the city from Britain. Out of which 36 citizens are from the municipal area and out of which 13 citizens are untraceable. Hence a letter was given to the police administration to find them. A list of the names and addresses of 13 persons has been sent to the police. As soon as they are found, their RT-PCR test will be carried out said Dr Padalkar said.

Four negative, seven swabs taken

RT-PCR tests were conducted on four citizens from Britain on Friday. Their test report was found negative. Four persons who had gone to Nanded and one who had gone to Pune have returned and were tested on Saturday. The two persons in the city also underwent a test. Their reports will arrive on Sunday.

Awaiting report from NIV

A 57-year-old woman from Britain tested positive. The woman''s saliva sample has been sent to the NIV laboratory in Pune for testing and it will take seven days to receive the report. The woman has been admitted to Dhoot Hospital.
