15-gram mangalsutra snatched near TV Centre

Two unidentified motorcycle-borne persons snatched a 15-gram gold mangalsutra from a woman near TV Centre on Tuesday.

According to Cidco police, the complainant Kamal Sulane (40), a resident of Cidco, was walking to the TV Centre vegetable market with her neighbour to purchase vegetables when the incident occurred. A motorcycle with two persons approached them, and the pillion rider forcibly snatched her mini mangalsutra before fleeing the spot along with the rider. Police have registered a case at Cidco police station under, and further investigation is underway.
