Aurangabad, April 21:

A total of 168 students of first-year MBBS (summer batch 20190) who failed in the examinations were declared passed with grace marks.

The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences declared the result of MBBS first year (summer 2019) a few months ago.

A total of 6,398 candidates appeared for the examinations while 4,596 students were passed in March 2021. Nearly 1802 candidates were failed.

The university passed a new ordinance in March to give grace marks to those who have failed in one subject.

The MUHS prepared the new result of the students who had failed in one subject and declared it recently. Out of the total failed, 168 students were declared passed by giving them grace marks. Controller of examinations Dr Ajit Pathak said that students and colleges should take note of it.
