Aurangabad, Feb 17:

The Crime Branch of the city police arrested two hardcore

criminals and a juvenile for robbing a trader.

Police said, complainant, Shaikh Anvar Shaikh Akbar (30,

Chitegaon, Paithan) runs a bakery. On February 10, he was going from Railway

Station road on his motorcycle when three persons came after him and dashed his

motorcycle. Anvar fell from the motorcycle, the three persons threatened him

with a knife and took away Rs 2000 from his pocket and his mobile phone

amounting Rs 16,000. He immediately lodged a complaint at the Vedantnagar

police station.

On Tuesday, crime branch PSI Yogesh Dhonde received an information

from the informer that the person robbing Anwar was Deepak alias Juliee

Rajendra Chavan (21, Hanuman Chowk, Chikalthana). Dhonde and his team laid a

trap and arrested Deepak and found the stolen mobile phone with him. On

interrogation, he confessed that he had committed the crime with his accomplice

Azhar Khan alias Maya Azad Khan (24, Hinanagar, Chikalthana) and a minor boy.

The police arrested both of them.

The action was executed by PI Avinash Aghav, PSI Yogesh

Dhonde, Constable Syed Mujeeb Ali, Milind Bhandare, Rahul Kharat, Sunil Mote,

Nitin Deshmukh, Dnyaneshwar Pawar and others.
