Aurangabad, Dec 17:

The Waluj MIDC police arrested two notorious motorcycle thieves on Thursday. The accused have been identified as Pratap Vishnu Korde (28, Sakhreda, Sindhkhedraja, presently living at Ranjangaon) and Vinod Bhausaheb Salunkhe (21). The police have seized two motorcycles amounting Rs 1.20 lakh from them.

The informers informed PI Madhukar Sawant about the motorcycle thief Pratap Korde on Thursday. Accoringly, API Gautam Wavale, Nawab Shaikh, Sudhir Sonawane, Mohan Patil Revannath Gawale, Vinod Nitnavare, Deepak Matlabe and other laid a trap and arrested the suspect Pratap and Vinod. Both of them confessed that they have stolen a motorcycle of Hiralal Prasad (MH20 D U 8093) at Ranjangaon on December 7 and another from Talegaon Dabhadi area in Pune district. They hide these motorcycle in a tin shed near their house at Ranjangaon. The police have seized both the motorcycle worth Rs. 1.20 lakh. The police have opined that some more cases of vehicle thefts are likely to come to the fore with the arrest.
