Aurangabad, May 28:

The City Chowk

police arrested two motorcycles thieves after keeping a watch for 23 days in

the Shahgunj area. They confessed that they stole 40 motorcycles but the police

suspect that they stole more than 50 motorcycles until now. The police seized

five more motorcycles from them on Friday while the total number of motorcycles

seized has reached to 27 now.

The police arrested

Gauskha Kalekha Pathan (Brijwadi) and Nawabkha Osmankha Pathan (Godri,

Bhokarkan, Jalna).

Gauskha used to

steal motorcycles from the Shahgunj, GMCH and Jama Masjid area and used to sell

in various villages in Bhokardan and Sillod tehsils. The police arrested him

and his one accomplice and seized 22 motorcycles On Wednesday. They were

produced before the court as their custody was over and they were remanded in

the police custody for two more days. They confessed that they have stolen 40

motorcycles but the number would be more than 50. Two more accomplices involved

in the thefts are at large and the police have launched a massive manhunt for

them, said PI Sambhaji Pawar.
