2,577 BLOs to get pending honorarium

Aurangabad, June 6:

As many as 2577 booth level officers (BLO) from the district will get their honorarium which was pending for the past three years.

The BLOs worked in different elections from October 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018, was not released yet.

Maharashtra Rajya Prathmik Shikshak Sangh pursued the matter with the district collector frequently. District Collector Sunil Chavan issued orders to release the honorarium that was pending for three years. The district administration disbursed Rs 64.42 lakh to tehsil offices.

The tehsil-wise distributed amount of honorarium is as follows; Aurangabad (Rs 19.75 lakh), Gangapur (Rs 6.45 lakh), Paithan (Rs 6.40 lakh), Vaijapur (Rs 6.57 lakh), Kannad (Rs 7.5 lakh), Sillod (Rs 5.97 lakh), Phulambri (Rs 7.80 lakh), Soyegaon (Rs 2.25 lakh) and Khuldabad (Rs 2.17 lakh).

Teachers union leaders like Madhukar Walture, Rajesh Hiwale, Kakasaheb Jagtap, Kailas Gaikwad, Jalindar Chavan, Baliram Chavan, Baliram Bhumre, Sanjay Bhume, Harun Shaikh and others pursued the matter of pending honorarium.
