Aurangabad, Nov 14:

Those who missed ‘Muhurat will purchase a new vehicle on Diwali Padwa which will be celebrated on November 26. Around 3,000 new vehicles will be on the street on Monday.

This is a positive sign for automobile industries.

The scene in the vehicle market, which was passing through slow down last year has changed. Those who booked a new car on Dussehra will get it on Padwa Muhurat.

Chamber of Authorised Automobile Dealers Association president Rahul Pagariya said that there is a waiting list of around 1200-1500 cars.

Those who have booked in Diwali festival get the vehicle in November. Around 500 cars booked on Dussehra will be delivered on Padwa. Nearly 70 to 80 pc cars have a price less than Rs 10 lakh. There is a waiting list, even for two-wheelers. Over 2,500 vehicles will be sold by Padwa. Also, accessories are sold on a high level in the festival season.

The customers who book a car at the eleventh hour may not get delivered.

Keys of new vehicles will be handed over to the customers at showrooms on Padwa after pooja to be performed by priests.

This rainfall recorded higher than average. Rivers, dams and wells have sufficient water stock. The sale of tractors speaks of high hope of farmers to have good crops. The showrooms have 250 tractors book. Customers will get keys of trackers on Padwa.

"Day of Dhantrayodashi was good for Sarafa market. Pure gold was in high demand. Gold ornaments were also purchased for wedding season. The city recorded Rs 6 Cr to Rs 7 Cr turnover. The price per 10-gram gold was at Rs 52,800. There was the same price on Dussehra festival," said Rajendra Mandlik, president of, Sarafa Association.
