Aurangabad, Nov 7:

Three thieves on a motorcycle came near a lady teacher and snatched her gold chain, amounting Rs 35,000 at Cidco Mahanagar area on Friday night. The thieves have been captured in the CCTV cameras.

Sonali Vijay Mahajan (38, Wadgaon), is a teacher at Trimurti Vidya Mandir. On Friday at around 8.30 pm, she had gone to Sara Vrundavan Society to meet her sister Seema Deore. As Seema''s daughter was crying, she took her and went out of the house. While walking on the road between Rose Buds School to Cidco Garden in the Cidco Mahanagar area, three thieves came on a motorcycle without a number plate and snatched a gold chain weighing 17 grams worth Rs 35,000 from Sonali’s neck and fled away towards the Cidco Garden area. A case has been registered at the Cidco MIDC police station.
