31,867 valid applications for 222 municipal posts; 11,000 for junior engineer

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A total of 56,902 applications were received for 222 vacant posts in the municipal corporation, of which 31,867 were found valid and 25,235 rejected due to missing documents or non-payment of fees. The online application process, which began on February 17 following a February 16 advertisement, was extended till March 31 due to an initial lukewarm response.

The recruitment is being conducted by IBPS. Eligible candidates will receive online hall tickets, and the examination will be held simultaneously across the state. The merit list will be submitted to the corporation.
