35 candidates in fray for M’wada Graduates Constituency polls;

Aurangabad, Nov 18:

With the withdrawal of nomination papers of 10 persons, there are 35 candidates in the fray for Marathwada Graduates Constituency elections.

A total of 45 persons filed nomination papers while 10 of them withdrew on Tuesday, the last day of withdrawal. There is a candidate from each district in the valid list.

The highest number of candidates are from Aurangabad while Beed is in second place. The fight will be among top party candidates. Dr Rohit Borkar from Pune filed nomination papers as Aam Admi Party candidate here.

The names of those candidates who withdrew nomination papers are Akshay Khedkar, Ishwar Munde, Dr Shankar Ambhore, Jaisinghrao Gaikwad, Pravinkumar Potbhare, Vijendra Surase, Vivekanand Ujlambkar, Shaikh Ghulam Rasul Kattu, Sanjay Gambhire and Sandeep Karale.

The district-wise name of candidates is as follows; Aurangabad-Shirish Boralkar (BJP), Satish Chavan (NCP), Abdul Rauf (SP), Kunal Kharat (AIMIM), Sachin Dhavle (Prahar Janshakti Party), Sachin Nikam (Republican Sena), Ashok Sowane, Krishna Doiphode, Bharat Phulare, Vasant Bhalerao, Dr Vilas Jagdale, Vishal Nandarkar, Shaikh Ajju Husain Patel and Sanjay Tayde (all Independents).

Beed: Ashish Deshmukh, Ganesh Karande, Rani Ghadge, Ramesh Pokle, Sharad Kamble, Shahdev Bhandare, Shirish Kamble, Siddheshwar Munde (all Ind). Jalna, Parbhani, Latur and Osmanabad districts candidates: Dr Ashwinkumar Kshirsagar, Uttam Bansode, Samdani Shaikh, Ramesh Kadam, Vilas Tangar, Qazi Taslim Nizamuddin, Dilip Ghuge, Yashwant Kasbe, Ram Atram (all Ind), Nagorao Panchal (Bahujan Aghadi) and Shaikh Salim Sk Ibrahim (Vanchit Samaj Insaaf Party), Ankushrao Patil (Rashtriya Maratha Party).
