The coronavirus has caused havoc in the past seven months, and till date, 22,655 patients from the 34,193 patients have been found in the city so far. Of these, 12,991 patients are in the age group of 18 to 50 years.

Surveys so far have shown that the spread of corona is mainly due to the youth. People in the age group of 18 to 50 have to go out of the house for various reasons. They return home after a long day at work. The virus also infiltrates in the houses to some extent. As a result, the number of corona patients was increasing. The number of patients is now much lower than before. According to the report of the municipal corporation on October 3, in all 22,655 corona victims have been registered in the city limits. This includes 12,991 people in the age group of 18 to 50 years. There are 6,148 people aged 50 years and above are affected by the virus. The number of corona sufferers in the age group of 5 to 18 years is 2,925. The number of corona victims in the age group of zero to five years is 502. On Saturday, 178 patients were added in the municipal area. There are 13,808 males and 8, 758 females.
