Aurangabad, May 12:

The Maharashtra State Council of Examinations (MSCE) is likely to conduct scholarship examination of standard 5th and 8th students after June only.

The MSCE was to hold Pre Upper Primary (PUP) scholarship examination for standard 5th students and Pre Secondary Scholarship (PSS) examination for class 8th students on April 23.

The test was postponed because students and their parents requested it as some districts of the State had a lockdown. The Council had announced the new date as May 23 for the test.

Now, all the parts of the State have strict lockdown due to rising COVID patients and their deaths.

So, the test was postponed for the second.

According to sources, considering the current situation, the examination would be held only after June or if not, it will be cancelled. Thousands of students take the test, which is the foundation of their career in various competitive examinations.
