A focused session on From Insight to Impact in Banking at the AI Summit highlighted how artificial intelligence is transforming financial services by enhancing decision-making, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The session was addressed by vice president and general manager (coe) Mandar Kulkarni of Findability Sciences, assistant vice president Prajakta Kulkarni of Findability Sciences, and Dr. Jitendrasinh Jamadar.

The speakers emphasised that AI is increasingly being deployed for fraud detection and risk management through anomaly detection models that strengthen financial compliance frameworks. They also underlined how banks are leveraging AI-powered personalisation to tailor financial products and services according to customer behaviour, thereby improving satisfaction and retention.

The panel noted that AI-driven automated systems are enabling institutions to meet evolving regulatory requirements with improved accuracy while significantly reducing manual intervention in operational processes.

A live case study of Aviva Life Insurance was presented, demonstrating how the integration of AI into chatbot systems has transformed static customer support into dynamic, intent-based interaction platforms. This shift has led to improved customer engagement, service automation, and conversion rates.

The discussion also explored predictive analytics in loan approvals and intelligent advisory systems, reinforcing that AI adoption in banking is evolving beyond efficiency gains to deliver strategic business impact and improved competitiveness.
