Aurangabad, Dec 16:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Wednesday completed repair work of pipeline which was burst near Gajanan Maharaj Mandir on Tuesday night.

It may be noted the 300 MM pipeline was laid to supply water to the areas near Gajanan Maharaj Mandir from Garkheda.

Water was being supplied to the areas through the pipeline at 8 pm. Suddenly, the pipeline burst and its water gathered in front of flower vendors stalls.

The vendors faced a lot of inconveniences and vehicular traffic was also affected. On receiving information, the Civic Body officers stopped the water supply. The repair work began Wednesday morning. Incharge executive engineer Kiran Dhande said that water supply was resumed immediately after repairing it.
