AMC detects 22 COVID patients on Monday

Aurangabad, Dec 14:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 182 antigen and 781 RT-PCR tests (total 963 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 22 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 47 antigen tests at the CCCs and found three Covid-19 patients. The AMC personnel also held 136 RT-PCR tests.

Meanwhile, the Special Task Force, by visiting different parts of the city, conducted 115 antigen tests and detected 14 Covid-19 patients, apart from 576 RT-PCR tests on suspects.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted 10 RT-PCR tests; District Civil Hospital conducted four and private laboratories conducted 55 RT-PCR tests today. Meanwhile, the private laboratories also conducted 20 antigen tests and found five Covid-19 patients (including two from areas out of the AMC limit). The AMC will receive the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
