Aurangabad, Nov 20:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has conducted RT-PCR tests of 1393 teachers and found eight teachers as Covid-positive today.

The AMC held the drive to collect swab samples teaching and non-teaching staff at 16 health centres. It includes primary health centres (of Chikalthana, Ramnagar, Shivajinagar, Baijipura, Harshnagar, N-8, N-11 and N-2) Covid Care Centres (of Kile Ark, MGM, Padampura and MIT College), Cantonment Hospital, Reliance Mall and Tapadiya Kasliwal Ground.

Of the eight infected, five teachers are localities situated outside the AMC jurisdiction.
