AMC detects five COVID patients in city

Aurangabad, Dec 26:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 150 antigen and 665 RT-PCR tests (total 815 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced five Covid-19 patients today. Of the total infected persons, two are residents of areas, out of AMC limit.

The health teams conducted 38 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected three Covid-19 patients (including two from the areas situated outside the AMC limit) on the spot. The AMC personnel also held 101 RT-PCR tests on suspects.

Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams conducted 61 antigen tests and detected two Covid-19 patients. It also collected swab collection of 504 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted 14 RT-PCR tests and private laboratories conducted 46 today. Besides, the private laboratories also conducted 51 antigen tests and did not found a single infected patient. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
