Aurangabad, Dec 31:

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) extended the last date of admissions to different postgraduate courses for a week.

Deputy registrar of the PG section Dr Digamber Netke said that the last date of admission was December 31 while now it extended up to January 8.

“The admissions to PG courses will be given on the basis of the merit for the academic year 2020-21 as the Common Entrance Test was cancelled. But, the CET is mandatory for the professional courses admissions process implemented by the State Government,” he said.

The list of registered candidates will be released on January 11 while the first selection list will be displayed on January 16. The second list will be out on January 28 and third will be released on February 3. The spot round will be conducted after the third list. The PG classes will commence from February 28.

The details about different subjects, available seats, reservation, fee and eligibility is available on the university portal. Name of some of the courses are as follows; M A in English, Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, History, Political Science, Sanskrit, Pali and Buddhism, Sociology, Public Administration and Geography, M Sc in Physics, Zoology, Electronics, Chemistry, Computer Science and Nano Technology.
