Aurangabad, Nov 3:

The administration of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) postponed the interviews to be held for the post of teachers.

It may be noted that there many departments which have one or two teachers to teach students. The university cannot recruit the teaching staff; there is a ban on it.

The departments hire clock-hour-basis teachers to complete the syllabus. This has become a practice for the past four to five years.

The administration decided to fill 18 posts of teachers on a contract basis. After the scrutiny, the interviews were to be conducted on November 6 and 7.

Bamu announced that the interviews were postponed due to some unavoidable reason. The new schedule will be announced soon. Meanwhile, some members of authorities and boards had taken objection to the recruitment of teachers only for the selected departments.
