Bamu to release 1st merit list on Aug 1

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Postgradaute Section of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada Universtiy (Bamu) will declare the first merit list on August first.
It may be noted that the university completed online registration process up to 15 for the PG, undergraduate, diploma and certificate courses in different faculties being ran in the department of the city and Dharashiv sub-campuses. The candidates were asked to submit the documents between July 16 and 19. The scrutinty of the documents up to July 24.
The first merit list will be released on August 1 while the second list will be displayed between August 9 and 14. The spot admission round will be implemented on August 18 for the vacant seats. “The second year classes in the PG department have started on July 1. The first year classes will start from August 11,” informed Madhav Wagatkar, Deputy Registrar of the PG Section.

Over 4.7 K students registered for admission
A total of 4,768 students have registered online for various courses in the departments. Out of total registered, 213 students applied in the Faculty of Commerce, 1,427 for the courses in Humanities, 1,460 for the Science and Technology.

--Interdisciplinary -07 courses
-- Faculty of Commerce—03 courses

Along with this, some departments will be admitted through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the state government. These include M.Ed, M.Ed, MBA, MCA, M.Tech Food Technology, Drugs and Pharmaceuticals, M.Pharmacy- Pharmaceuticals, Quality Assurance courses.
