Bhimrao Panchale's ghazals to quench literary thirst of audience
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Singer Bhimrao Panchale, whose popularity reached overseas through many ghazals, including 'Andaj Aarshacha Waate Khara Asawa', will be the chief guest of the second 'Paanwatha' to be conducted by Marathi Department of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) on March 24.
Bamu has started this innovative initiative 'Paanwatha' in the new year with the tagline 'Thirst is not only for water' with the concept of Vice Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari. This is second programme under this initiative to be hosted at the main auditorium on Wednesday.
Renowned poet Ashok Naigaonkar was the chief guest for the first programme. The first program was held on January 29th amidst a huge crowd of fans.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Nitin Bagate will be present as the guest of honour. Coordinator Dr Dasu Vaidya and Student Development Board Director Dr Kailas Ambhure appealed to gazal lovers to attend the concert.
