Aurangabad, Nov 19:

BJP MLA Ashish Shelar said that Jaisinghrao Gaikwad should see his level before talking anything about BJP party status.

He was talking to media persons here on Thursday after addressing a lawyers meeting as part of canvassing for Shirish Boralkar, the BJP candidate in Marathwada Graduates Constituency elections. Ashish Shelar said that BJP gave him (Gaikwad) on high position and made prominent leader, if he does not mend his ways, he will get replay in a dangerous language.

While quitting BJP, Jaisinghrao Gaikwad had said that BJP was flying higher than a plane and he wants to bring it on land.

Commenting on this, the BJP MLA Shelar said Gaikwad should have given blessings to Shirish Boralkar who was election chief when he (Gaikwad) was contesting the election.

“New generation of people should get an opportunity at the party. BJP State unit chief Chandrakant Patil had told the former union mister about giving him required honour. He advised Ramesh Pokle to stop canvassing as BJP candidate since Boralkar is the official candidate of the party.

Criticising Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidate Satish Chavan, he had not done any remarkable work in legislative council nor made efforts to get justice to teachers. He also questioned as to where he (Chavan) was at the time of seeking Maratha reservation.

“Time has come for the purification of Shiv Sena’s flag. It has abandoned Hindutva. The mindset of its leaders has changed and they have quit principles of Balasaheb Thackery,” he asserted.

About Congress party status, he replied that people had discarded Congress and now, nobody respects it in MVA as bill waving point speaks of itself.MP Dr Bhagwat Karad, MLA Atul Save, BJP District Unit president Autade, its city unit president Sanjay Kenekar, Bapu Ghadamode, Anil Makriye and others were present.
