Aurangabad, May 21:

The branches of the trees posing danger for the electricity

wires on the poles have not been cut yet. During monsoon period, the wires rub

to each other due to the branches which cause sparking in them. The Maharashtra

State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) before every monsoon cut

all the branches posing danger for the electricity wires. Recently, the city

has been hit by heavy rain with winds due to which the electricity wires are loose

at many places and the branches have also fallen. Still, the branches are not

cleared at various places. The repairing and maintenance work is done at some

selected places only. Hence, the residents Balaji Chathe, Kadubai Chate, Govind

Deshmukh, Sahebrao Patil, Yogeshwar Nikam, Digambar Katkar and others appealed

that the works should be conducted in all the areas.
