Budget to accelerate state’s progress: Khadse

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Union minister of state Rakesh Khadse on Sunday said that several provisions in the union Budget would accelerate Maharashtra’s overall progress. He was speaking at a press conference here.

OBC welfare minister Atul Sawe, city president Kishor Shitole, corporators Sameer Rajurkar, Govind Kendre, Harshvardhan Karad, Dr. Ujwala Dahiphale and Chhaya Khajekar were present. Khadse said the budget has made significant provisions for the sports sector, which will help promote sports culture across the country. He added that initiatives for City Economic Regions and Tier-2 cities would benefit several cities in the state, particularly in Marathwada and North Maharashtra. However, he noted that the structure of the Infrastructure Risk Guarantee Fund is yet to be clearly outlined. He further said that three chemical parks have been announced in the budget, and BJP MPs would collectively work to ensure that at least one is established in Maharashtra. Highlighting allocations under the Amrit Bharat Scheme, Khadse referred to the development of railway stations, tourism clusters, biopharma projects and the Mumbai–Pune–Hyderabad corridor. He said the budget provides the much-needed stability to keep the country on a sustained path of growth. Responding to criticism from the opposition, Khadse remarked that the opposition’s role has been limited to criticism alone.
