Aurangabad, Jan 12:

Thieves stole cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 90,000 from a house at Savitrinagar on Monday morning.

According to details, the complainant Samadhan Bharat Kshirsagar is a worker at Chikalthana industrial estate while his wife is a worker in Shendra MIDC.

As usual, Kshirsagar couple left for a job at 8.30 pm on Monday after locking the house. Taking opportunity from the locked house, thieves entered the house and made off with cash of Rs 6,000, 10 gm mini gold chain, 5-gram ring and 3 gm earring worth Rs 90,000.

The incident came to light when the couple returned home at 6.30 pm. They saw a bolt of the door broken and found all items scatted here and there. On receiving information, PSI Kailas Annaldas and other officers reached the spot. Kshirsagar lodged a complaint with the police.
