Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Those who are facing difficulties in verification of Aadhar Card and Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) IDs can now register for the common entrance tests (CETs) to be conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell (SCETC).

It may be noted that the CET Cell conducts the entrance tests for the different undergraduate and postgraduate in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, Computer, Management, Agriculture and Fine and Applied courses every year.

It is mandatory to upload and verify Aadhar and APAAR IDs for the registration of the test for the academic year 2026-27.

However, hundreds of candidates are facing difficulties in the verification of these cards. So, they are deprived of the registration.

Considering this, the Cell decided to allow such candidates to register without verification of Aadhar and APAAR cards.

The Cell officials said that candidates are facing difficulty in completing Aadhaar and APAAR authentication during the CET 2026 registration process.

“In view of this, and to ensure that no eligible candidate is inconvenienced or deprived of filling the CET registration form, necessary facilitation measures are being provided for such candidates. Aadhaar authentication continues to be the preferred mode of verification for CET 2026 registration. Candidates who are unable to complete Aadhaar and APAAR authentication due to technical or other genuine issues may proceed with filling and submitting the application form on the CET 2026 registration portal without Aadhaar and APAAR authentication,” they said.
