Aurangabad, March 15:

The husband of a nurse, who was reported Corona positive and was being treated at the District Civil Hospital (DCH) lodged a complaint against the District Civil Surgeon to the health minister, Rajesh Tope, stating that he questioned the nurse that why she conducted the antigen test and should leave the DCH at once.

According to the details, Nurse, Janabai Mundhe while on duty at DCH on March 12, suffered from a cold and cough. Hence, she conducted her test and was reported positive. She was being treated at the DCH since then. The next day, the district civil surgeon, Dr Sundar Kulkarni, called on the phone to the additional civil surgeon, Dr Kamlakar Mudkhedkar, and talked to Janabai. He questioned her why she conducted the antigen test, and she should leave the hospital at once, her husband Sachin Soni mentioned in the complaint given to the health minister.

Meanwhile, Dr Sundar Kulkarni said that he had not said anything like this. He only asked about the antigen test as antigen tests are not conducted at DCH, and only RTPCR tests are conducted, he said.
